Edible, Resilient & Regenerative Gardens

Designed for beauty, biodiversity, and autonomy.

For the past 12 years, I’ve been designing and installing edible gardens that grow more than food — they regenerate the land, reconnect people to nature, and transform everyday spaces into ecosystems.

Each garden is unique, but all follow a core approach rooted in a mix of permaculture, agroforestry, and more specifically, syntropic agriculture. This methodology creates multi-layered systems, inspired by the structure and fertility of tropical forests — combining fruit trees, perennial shrubs, edible herbs, medicinal plants, and ground covers into a living, breathing whole.

Syntropic agriculture in particular focuses on maximizing biomass and soil fertility, while mimicking natural succession. By managing growth through strategic pruning and cycling of organic matter (like the "chop and drop" technique), we keep the system productive, orderly, and continuously improving — without chemicals or waste. This prevents the garden from becoming overgrown while allowing it to remain lush and self-sustaining

What You Can Expect

These gardens are:

From a small culinary herb patch in your backyard to a full-scale edible forest on your land, I tailor each project to your space, climate, and vision.

  • Low-maintenance once established

  • Highly nutritious, rich in diversity and flavors

  • Beautiful, with a slightly wilder aesthetic that embraces life

  • Resilient, able to thrive with little irrigation and minimal external inputs

  • Supportive of local wildlife, including pollinators and beneficial insects

From a small culinary herb patch in your backyard to a full-scale edible forest on your land, I tailor each project to your space, climate, and vision.

How we work

I offer a three-step process:

  • 1. Site Visit & Observation:  We walk the land together. I listen to your needs and observe the site — its light, water, slopes, and existing vegetation.

  • 2. Custom Garden Design:  You receive a complete, tailored plan including plant selection, layout, and guiding principles for care and development.

  • 3. Installation & Support: I oversee or carry out the planting phase, and if desired, provide continued guidance — especially for maintenance practices like pruning for productivity, biomass cycling, and seasonal care.

Creating an edible garden means creating life — for yourself, for your soil, and for future harvests.

Let’s grow something meaningful, together.
