Volunteer & Education at Tierra Madre

Hijos de la Tierra Experience

Step away from the noise, slow down, and reconnect with what truly matters.

At Tierra Madre, our volunteer program is an immersive experience in the heart of nature — a chance to live simply, work with your hands, and learn skills for a more autonomous life.

We welcome volunteers for a minimum of two weeks and up to two or three months, depending on your goals.

During your stay, you will be part of the daily rhythm of our regenerative and syntropic agriculture systems: planting, pruning, mulching, harvesting, and cycling organic matter back into the land. You will also discover how to live with less, cook and eat healthy, and care for yourself in a place where nature sets the pace.

Life here is offline by design — with limited internet access, plenty of time for reflection, and a focus on presence. You will learn practical survival skills, develop self-discipline, and experience the deep calm that comes from living under the open sky and in harmony with the elements.

The spirit of Hijos de la Tierra guides everything we do:

To live lightly, observe deeply, and participate actively in the regeneration of the land that sustains us.

If you are ready to learn, share, and adapt, Tierra Madre will welcome you into a community where work, rest, and nature are one.
